Y Honors is an opportunity to honor the outstanding achievements of individuals who have distinguished themselves as leaders in our community - not only bettering themselves and their organizations - but also making significant contributions to improving the quality of life in the Delaware Valley. Whether in service to the YMCA or through other local and national charitable organizations, these leaders demonstrate a tireless commitment to nurturing children, strengthening families, building strong communities and developing healthy spirits, minds and bodies for all.
This year's theme, "Making Child Care a Priority," highlights a critical issue affecting families throughout our community. Access to safe, affordable, high-quality childcare is essential to the success of working parents, the healthy development of children, and the economic vitality of our region. Through Y Honors, we will raise awareness and resources to help ensure that more families can access the care and support they need. When families have access to affordable, high-quality childcare, children are better prepared for success, parents can fully participate in the workforce, and communities become stronger. Y Honors is about bringing community leaders together to make that vision a reality.
